Now is the time when we traditionally begin promoting IDWeek 2020 and registration for members. However, these are unprecedented and unpredictable times, as you and your colleagues in the ID community are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of today, we are planning to proceed with IDWeek 2020 scheduled for Oct. 21-25 in Philadelphia, Pa., but we are actively monitoring the situation and exploring contingency plans should they be needed. Knowing our members and attendees are immersed in addressing the current pandemic, we are working to relax and revise certain deadlines including abstract deadlines, early discounted registration cut-off and cancellation restrictions. These revised guidelines and deadlines will be published as soon as they are confirmed.

We believe that the sharing of vital information is more relevant than ever and IDWeek should serve as a conduit in bringing the global ID community together, be it in person or virtual, or both. A link to our current program can be found here; however, we expect adjustments to include significant COVID-19 coverage and pandemic preparedness sessions as more data becomes available over the summer.

We thank you for the work that you do and offer our continued support in the coming weeks and months ahead.
