The Training Programs Committee has put together the checklist below to assist you and your fellows in training:

  • Update program information in the Online Training Program Directory
  • Use the Career Opportunities in Pediatric Infectious Diseases brochure to recruit potential fellows
  • Ensure that all fellows are PIDS members
  • Encourage fellows to review educational resources available at pids.org
  • Sign up for ERAS
  • Register at least one fellow and faculty member for the St. Jude/PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference
  • Register fellows for the Pediatric Fellows’ Day Workshop at the IDSA Annual Meeting
  • Attend the Training Program Directors’ Meeting held in conjunction with the IDSA Annual Meeting
  • Encourage submissions of PIDS and PIDS-St. Jude Fellowship Awards Applications
  • Preparing for an ACGME site visit? Contact a member of the PIDS Training Programs Committee to talk with other program directors who have recently had successful site visits and who can help answer your questions about Program Information Form (PIF) preparation
