Strategic Plan

Mission: To enhance the health of infants, children adolescents by promoting excellence in diagnosis, management and prevention of infectious diseases through clinical care, education, research and advocacy.

Goals:

  1. Clinical Care

    To promote excellence in the care of infants, children and adolescents with infectious diseases
    To advance the prevention of infectious diseases

  2. Education

    To foster education of healthcare professionals in the management and prevention of infectious diseases.
    To serve as a resource for healthcare professionals for experts advice, and the public for valid information, regarding infectious diseases and their prevention in infants, children and adolescents (Hereafter, this group is referred to collectively as children and their infectious diseases as pediatric.)
