Fellowship Funding Opportunities

The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society offers several Fellowship Awards (Training Awards) annually. Additional information about these Awards and other sources of fellowship funding is in the PIDS Members Area.

The files require the Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing. For best results, you will need Acrobat Reader 4.0, which is available at no cost from the Adobe Web site

Tips for Grant Preparation

Approved Pediatric Infectious Diseases Training Programs

Training programs in pediatric infectious diseases are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in collaboration with the Residency Review Committee (RRC) for Pediatrics in the United States and those accredited through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).  The ACGME provides a complete Directory of Accredited Programs.

The Pediatric Infectious Disease Society publishes the book Training Programs in Pediatric Infectious Diseases that lists detailed information about all of the accredited training programs in pediatric infectious diseases. The 2005-2006 edition is available.  Click here to view training programs or contact the PIDS Office by e-mail or phone (703) 299-6764 to request a copy of the directory.
